TYP Goals:
  • Defeat Prop 200: TYP has taken a strong position against Prop 200. We will be participating with other business organizations and leaders in the initiative against Prop 200. TYP will be speaking to organizations and community groups about the negative effects passing Prop 200 will have on Tucson’s future.
  • Design and implement First Fridays: This will be a strategic partnership event with Tucson’s Museum of Art. The focus will be combining Tucson’s arts and culture with young professionals to create a new, vibrant downtown venue.
  • Create a curriculum to teach college-aged individuals in the workings of Tucson’s government. The focus will be to increase the involvement of one of Tucson’s largest demographics, college students, in what is going on outside of the university. 
These goals support our mission to attract, increase, and retain young professionals to Tucson.

TYP First FridaysMinimize

"First Fridays" The hottest event in Tucson...coming January 4, 2008!

First Fridays is an event that will provide an upscale environment for Tucson locals of all ages to socialize and promote local artists and businesses in the heart of our city. We hope this event will spark interest in our community while offering a creative social outlet. The TYP First Fridays event welcomes everyone over the age of 21 for a unique Tucson social experience while supporting our community. We hope to see you there!
