Thanks for coming out to our University Bar Crawl: Back to School Night co-hosted by Tucson Young Professionals and Greater Tucson Leadership!
We hope you had an opportunity to network and share your experience living in Tucson with like-minded folks. We provide experiences for our members to build lasting relationships, engage in professional development opportunities, and become change-makers in the community.
In case you missed it….
A big thank you to Greater Tucson Leadership for co-sponsoring the event. We kicked off our event with refreshments at Gentle Ben’s Brewing, combined networking with selfies and bingo at Illegal Pete’s Tucson, continued the fun at Frog & Firkin and capped off our night with a beer pong tournament at No Anchovies.
Did you get to learn about GTL?
Greater Tucson Leadership (GTL) is a non-partisan civic leadership development program whose mission is to inspire, develop and promote leadership in the greater Tucson region.
GTL offers robust classroom and field education experiences for community-minded individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Participants from business, government, non-profit and community organizations seek to expand and enhance their leadership skills and improve the quality of life in Southern Arizona. GTL graduates emerge from the program with a practical, in-depth understanding of major community issues and are impassioned about solving them.
The GTL program begins in August and concludes with graduation the following June. During that time, class members participate in an opening retreat, one Issue Day per month, and a Call to Action session.
Issue Day topics include:
- Economic Development
- Arts and Culture
- Criminal Justice
- Community Issues
