About this Event

TYP Advocacy Lunch-and-Learns are monthly events put on by the TYP Advocacy Team to inform and educate members on important issues related to the four pillars of TYP Advocacy.

Fellow TYP member and the Director of Governance and Outreach for the Southern Arizona Leadership Council, Nicole Barraza, will share a brief legislative update on the current legislative session, on bills related to TYP’s Advocacy Priorities. As well as a brief intro and training on how to use the Request to Speak program.

The Request To Speak program (RTS) is designed to allow the public to register an opinion on bills listed on agendas and to request to speak on a bill in a committee at the Arizona State Legislature.
