TYP Advocacy Lunch-and-Learns are monthly events put on by the TYP Advocacy Team to inform and educate members on important issues related to the four pillars of TYP Advocacy.
The Advocacy team connects TYP members and other various young professional focused organizations in the region together to have a more influential and unified voice. The team will work to identify and inform our community about both issues standing in our way and opportunities that we should pursue to achieve our vision of a strong, innovative, and inclusive Tucson economy for young professionals.
About this Event
Proposition 481 provides spending flexibility to Pima Community College to support their operations and programming without increasing taxes by permanently adjusting the College’s base expenditure limit, which dictates how much the College can use for operational purposes.
Former Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothschild, and Pima Community College Chancellor Lee Lambert will share what a “Yes” vote on the ballot will do for the College, why it’s important, and why community leaders in the Tucson region are encouraging support.
If you’re interested in education, workforce development, and job creation, you’ll want to attend!
