Summary:

TYP Advocacy Lunch-and-Learns are monthly events put on by the TYP Advocacy Team to inform and educate members on important issues related to the four pillars of TYP Advocacy.

The Advocacy team connects TYP members and other various young professional focused organizations in the region together to have a more influential and unified voice. The team will work to identify and inform our community about both issues standing in our way and opportunities that we should pursue to achieve our vision of a strong, innovative, and inclusive Tucson economy for young professionals.

Join this Lunch-and-Learn packed with information about three ballot initiatives that you’ll be asked to vote on in November. We’ll hear about Prop 481 from Former Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothschild and Pima Community College Chancellor Lee Lambert.

We will also hear about Prop 207 and Prop 208, and look at the pros and cons as explained by the Yes and No campaigns for each. (*Note: TYP does not have an official position on propositions 207 or 208 – this event is intended to provide members with information about these ballot initiatives so that they’ll feel empowered to make a decision come November)

Registration:

TYP Members: Free

Community Members: FREE. *It’s important to us this close to the election to make this information available to the public and not charge the usual ticket price for non-members. Please consider becoming a TYP member instead, if you can, to not only invest in this work, but also to be able to access Member pricing in the future (which is usually free/highly discounted)!
