TYP Members, this month’s mixer will be at Tucson Improv Movement
Ever heard of a DTL (Drink.Talk.Learn)?
It is a fun get-together where people present 3 minute PowerPoint presentations on things that they’re passionate about to their friends. We believe this is the PERFECT opportunity for us to learn more about YOU, our members, and what you love to think about/obsess over/etc; which is why this August, TYP will be partnering up with Tucson Improv Movement (TIM) to host our very own DTL!
Join us as we teach/share/inform/tell/rant each other about the things that we know a freakish amount about. Members will enjoy complimentary food and a drink ticket and of course, there will be time before and after the “show” for networking.
NOTE: DRESS CODE IS BUSINESS CASUAL.
We will have 10 presenters total who will compete for the following awards:
- Best Presentation
- Presentation that is closest to 3 minutes without going over
- Best Dressed

~~DTL Rules~~
Prepare a presentation with PowerPoint or PDF slides that is three minutes in length or less.
If you go over three minutes, there will be a silly penalty (TBD) and then continue with your presentation. Every additional minute racks up more silly penalties.
Heckling is encouraged so long as it’s “witty and brief.”
Non – witty banter will be met with boos.
You absolutely cannot have your slides on an automatic timer to make it last less than three minutes.
You will send your slides to pd@tucsonyoungprofessionals.com no later than Tuesday, Aug, 21st 11:59 PM. Failure to send your slides ahead of time may result in disqualification.
