About Pima College Access Network
The Pima College Access Network (PCAN) empowers learners on their journey toward post-secondary education – inspired by a commitment to service and lifelong learning – while supporting educators in their dedication to youth and families.
PCAN is overseen by the Metropolitan Education Commission, which unites learners, educators, and officials from education, government, and organizations across Tucson and greater Pima County. Together, we believe that equitable access to high-quality education, benefiting both individual and collective well-being, is essential to the prosperity of our region.
This shared initiative between TYP and PCAN aims to enhance the continuum of education by supporting local educators with professional development, networking opportunities, and a structured mentorship program.
