Mentorship in Action

Tucson Young Professionals offers two unique mentorship programs designed to connect, grow, and uplift individuals at all stages of their professional journey.

Whether you're looking to give back as a mentor or grow through guidance, our cohort models offer meaningful opportunities to build community and purpose.

TYP + C2C: Thriving Futures Mentorship Program

For TYP Members (Mentors) + Opportunity Youth (Mentees)

A cohort-based mentorship experience designed to support Opportunity Youth (ages 16–24) through structured, intentional relationships with TYP mentors. Developed in partnership with the Cradle to Career Partnership anchored at the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona (C2C), this this 4-month program includes facilitated group sessions and individual check-ins to build professional confidence, expand networks, and explore thriving futures in Southern Arizona.

Program Details:
Timeline: 
September - December 2025
Meeting Cadence: 
- 1x Monthly In-Person Cohort Session (4 hours each, lunch included)
- 1x Monthly 1:1 Mentor/Mentee Check-In (30–45 min, virtual or in-person)
Mentor Role: Attend all sessions, support mentee growth, and engage with intention
Mentee Role: Engage with curiosity, reflect on personal goals, and show up with openness

TYP Mentorship Program

For TYP Members (Mentees) + Community Leaders (Mentors)

This transformative 12-week journey is built to help emerging professionals grow with purpose. Since 2015, we've proudly partnered with the Southern Arizona Leadership Council (SALC) to connect TYP Members with seasoned executives and community leaders. Together, these relationships spark clarity, leadership growth, and a deeper sense of place in Southern Arizona.

In 2025, we expanded the program to include a BIPOC-focused cohort in partnership with 4 Da Hood, centering the lived experiences and goals of Black, Indigenous, and other professionals of color in our community. This ongoing expansion reflects our belief that mentorship must be inclusive, intentional, and identity-affirming.

Whether you're clarifying your next career step, building your leadership voice, or seeking meaningful connection in your industry, this program offers the structure and support to help you thrive.
