Tucson's Inaugural Democracy Forum

Join us for Tucson's Inaugural Democracy Forum!

We share a collective responsibility to defend both progress and democracy through constant engagement. At a time when trust in institutions is being tested and the forces shaping daily life are becoming increasingly unequal, the Democracy Forum invites Tucsonans to explore how shifting power dynamics affect governance, opportunity, and community well-being — locally and beyond.

Hosted by the Southern Arizona Education Council in partnership with Tucson Young Professionals, this inaugural forum brings together young leaders, educators, organizers, public officials, and community members for an evening of conversation and reflection. Through a combination of panel dialogue and small-group discussions, participants will learn from and inform our democracy from the ground up.

Attendees will:

✔️ Hear from local and state officials
✔️ Participate in a public call to the audience
✔️ Join guided dialogue circles facilitated by the Center for Community Mediation & Facilitation
✔️ Help shape a community report outlining key insights and civic priorities

This forum is free and open to the public. Food will be provided. Participants who attend the full program will also be entered into a $500 raffle.
