Tucson's Inaugural Democracy Forum
We share a collective responsibility to defend both progress and democracy through constant engagement. At a time when trust in institutions is being tested and the forces shaping daily life are becoming increasingly unequal, the Democracy Forum invites Tucsonans to explore how shifting power dynamics affect governance, opportunity, and community well-being — locally and beyond. Hosted by the Southern Arizona Education Council in partnership with Tucson Young Professionals, this inaugural forum brings together young leaders, educators, organizers, public officials, and community members for an evening of conversation and reflection. Through a combination of panel dialogue and small-group discussions, participants will learn from and inform our democracy from the ground up.
